MEET OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Jesus Peralez
Dr. Peralez grew up in Pasadena, Texas and upon graduation in 1985, he joined the United States Army 10th Mountain Combat Infantry Unit-Bravo Company. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge, he completed his remaining contract as a Tech Sergeant in the Texas National guard. He took a break in the service and completed his formal education through the University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School. Upon graduation in 2000, he went into private practice and picked back up with his military service by joining the Army Reserve.
His dedication to our country and military is only surpassed by his love and passion for dentistry – “It is a privilege to be a dentist, not my right,” he often says.
He is married with 3 sons and 2 daughters which keeps him busy. He is known to enjoy a good game of foosball and does not mind saying he can often be found at Casinos shooting craps!
Dr. Lorenzo Ramirez
Dr. Lorenzo Ramirez, general dentist in San Antonio, TX, loves helping people restore, maintain, and improve their smiles.
Born and raised in Norwalk in southern California, he moved to San Antonio when he was 14 years old. His love of San Antonio and its people continues to grow to this day – from the community’s cultural diversity to going to Spurs basketball games and enjoying the delicious foods of different local restaurants.
Growing up, his positive experiences going to the dentist and passion for applying science in a hands-on way inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry. After attending UTSA for his undergrad, he earned his DDS at UT Health Science Center Dental School and is a member of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ramirez joined Dr. Peralez in opening a private practice in San Antonio. He enjoys providing patients general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry services in a comfortable and friendly environment. With many years working as a dentist, what he finds the most rewarding aspect of the job is helping patients get out of pain when they’re experiencing a dental emergency.
When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Ramirez enjoys spending time with his family: wife Sara Ramirez (Principal in NISD), daughter Celeste (UT Austin graduate!), and their 3 chihuahuas Bandit, Kobe, and Timmy. He also enjoys fishing and camping, so if you know a good spot then let him know!
